Apple Event ‘Hi, Speed’ Announced, Here’s What We Expect

Apple announced earlier this week that they would be having their third event of 2020 on October 13th, which is being called ‘Hi, Speed”. Many people are curious about what is coming on this day, as we have recently had a product launch for the Apple Watch Series 6, Apple Watch SE, the iPad 8th gen, the new iPad Air, and finally Fitness + and Apple One. This is what T Word Tech is expecting to see on October 13th.

iPhone

I’m pretty sure everyone is expecting an iPhone, but here is what we are expecting.

iPhone 12
iPhone 12 Max
iPhone 12 Pro
iPhone 12 Pro Max

There are also some rumours about a mini line this year, which would change the lineup above to the following.

iPhone 12 Mini
iPhone 12
iPhone 12 Pro
iPhone 12 Pro Max

However, since Apple launched the iPhone SE, which was a small phone, so we are doubtful of a mini product line.

Also, keep in mind that the Pro models most likely have 5G, which we know because of the name, which is Hi, Speed, which sounds like High Speed.

HomePod

Recently, Apple removed some speakers from their stores, making us assume that there is a HomePod update coming soon. If this rumour is true, we are expecting to have a smaller HomePod, possibly called the HomePod Mini.

Some rumours are pointing to the retirement of Beats, which would be called AirPods Studio, as well as the launch of AirTags, which would be a Find My compatible device. Unfortunately, we are not expecting either to launch yet, as Jon Prosser, tech leaker has tweeted that both products will not be coming on October 13th.

Finally, some people have been expecting an Apple Silicon announcement. This WILL NOT HAPPEN. Apple Silicon is way to big to be jammed into an iPhone based event. We are expecting a November Show which is only Mac products, and can have enough air time to focus on Apple Silicon.

That’s it for our ‘Hi, Speed’ rumours. If anything changes before October 13th, we will have a brand new post to talk all about it.
